Starting in grammar school, I was taught to recycle my brown paper lunch bag. There were 4 children in our household, so reusing a lunch bag was helpful. Today we recycle glass, plastic bottles and containers, and even clothing. Thrift stores are very helpful in keeping fibers out of landfills. I share some statistics and show what I have done with some of the fibers I have been gifted. I've even set some small pieces in frames as seen below.

I encourage the audience to think about donating or gifting some their treasured items in their closets and share their legacy with others before it ends up in a landfill. Upcycling is very important today.
