Free motion quilting is drawing on a quilt with thread. A darning foot is used and one can move in any direction. For me, free motion quilting is like a roller coaster ride. I will share why during this talk. Do you know how many of your residents like to ride on roller coasters?

Boston Marathon Quilt 2014
This is a quilt which I made after sitting on the sidewalk in Ashland, MA as runners of all different abilities passed by. It was an emotional moment for me. I returned home and stitched this quilt. How many of your residents have run in half marathons or full marathons? It always amazes me to fins lots of talented individuals living in community for the last quarter of their life.
The homework for this talk is to share some hidden talent. AND to share whether they like to ride on roller coasters.
If you are interested in hiring me to share this talk with your residents, please call or email me at 802-380-5201 or linda@lindaramrathspeaks.com.
